MCX products consolidate AV and data on the same IT network to reduce customer cost, while enabling flexible Pro AV applications

CAMARILLO, Calif., October 16, 2019 – Semtech Corporation a leading supplier of high performance analog and mixed signal semiconductors and advanced algorithms, announced that Black Box, an industry-leading provider of Pro AV connectivity and signal distribution systems, has integrated Semtech’s BlueRiver® technology for SDVoE™ (Software Defined Video over Ethernet) into its award-winning MCX multimedia distribution and management system. MCX products take advantage of modern 10 GbE infrastructure to allow AV and data payloads to coexist over IT networks.

The MCX S9 supports advanced scaling options for multiview, picture-in-picture (PIP), split screen, HDMI 2.0, and DisplayPort 1.2 over IP for advanced mixed use case applications.
