Peregrine’s UltraCMOS® RF power limiters represent the industry’s first turnkey, monolithic solutions to provide an alternative to discrete, PIN-diode limiters based on gallium arsenide (GaAs). UltraCMOS power limiters feature high maximum power handling, form factor as much as eight times smaller than PIN-diode solutions, higher linearity, fast response-and-recovery time, adjustable limiting threshold and excellent ESD ratings. Phase-Locked Loops (PLL)
Peregrine PLL Freq Synthesizers Frequency phase-locked loops (PLLs) provide an electronic system for generating any of a range of frequencies from a single fixed time base or oscillator. Peregrine’s UltraCMOS® PLLs feature a very low phase noise figure of merit, which improves the signal-to-noise ratio and helps reduce the overall system cost while improving performance. An integrated phase detector and flexible serial or direct hard-wire interfaces provide additional design flexibility. Peregrine Mixers(MOSFET Quad Array)Mixers, up-converters and down-converters are used to translate encoded voice/data signals from one frequency to another to enable radio transmission. GaN FET Drivers
Gallium nitride (GaN) field-effect transistors (FETs) are disrupting the power conversion market and are displacing silicon-based metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistors (MOSFETs). Compared to MOSFETs, GaN FETs operate much faster and have higher switching speeds in the smallest possible volume. The promise of GaN is that it can dramatically reduce the size and weight of any power supply.
