Unidirectional TVS Diode Arrays in Smallest Footprint Available Protect I/O and Power Ports from ESD

Chicago, March 29, 2018 - Littelfuse, the world's leading enterprise in the field of global circuit protection, today launched two unidirectional transient suppression diode array products in line with AEC-Q101 standards, which are designed to protect I/O and power ports from ESD damage. The SP1053 and SP1054 series transient suppression diode arrays (SPA's diode) integrate a number of avalanche breakdown diodes equipped with proprietary silicon avalanche technologies to protect each pin. This type of device is a unidirectional fully sealed transient suppression diode, using a compact 01005 type plastic package; these two features are the first in the transient suppression diode array market. The reliable diode can safely absorb repeated ESD shock when it is under + 8kV (SP1053) or 30kV (SP1054), and it will not cause performance degradation. In addition, each diode can withstand 1.0A (SP1053) and 2.5A (SP1054) surge safely under very low clamping voltage.The typical applications of the SP1053 and SP1054 series of transient suppression diode arrays include mobile phones, smart phones, video cameras, portable medical devices, digital cameras, wearable technology, portable navigation devices, tablet computers, point of sale terminals, and recognition modules.

SP1053 and SP1054 series transient suppressor diode array provide the following key advantages：
