Murata introduces common mode noise filter for MIPI D-PHY ver. 1.2

2017-08-28 | Return

Overview

Murata Manufacturing Co., Ltd. has introduced the NFP0QSB132HL2 common mode noise filter for the highspeed differential interface “MIPI*1 D-PHY ver. 1.2.” This product started mass production in August 2017.

Background

In mobile devises, MIPI is used as an internal interface between application processors and modules such as camera modules and display modules. Increasing use of high resolution cameras as well as displays with high brightness and high contrast, has resulted in greater need for high speed transfer of large amounts of data, and the adoption of the MIPI D-PHY ver. 1.2 (2.5Gbps) high speed differential interface continues for this reason.

A product with high cut-off frequency (fc) is needed for a common mode noise filter as a noise suppression measure for MIPI D-PHY ver. 1.2, and at this time Murata is introducing the “NFP0QSB132HL2” in the 025020 inch size with suitable cut-off frequency of 7.5GHz
