Mini-Circuits’ new D-Series MMIC directional couplers includes 4 models offering 4W RF input power handling, low mainline loss and good directivity in tiny 3.1 x 3.0 x 0.6mm packages.    Their outstanding combination of high power, low loss and tiny size makes them excellent candidates for sampling signals in a wide range of applications including power amplifier outputs, transmitters, and other high power circuits.  Manufactured using silicon IPD technology, D-series couplers feature built-in 50Ω terminations on the isolated port and provide excellent ESD protection (Class 1B HBM).  They are rated for operating temperatures from -40 up to +105˚C, enabling reliable use near high power componentry.  The units come housed in tiny 6-lead packages (3.1 x 3.0 x 1.6mm), saving space and adding flexibility in tight PCB layouts.

Model D17W+ provides coupling ranging from 16 to 26 dB with a frequency range from 700 to 3500 MHz, supporting a variety of applications including WLAN, aeronautical, SatCom and more.  It provides low mainline loss (0.2 to 0.6 dB), 19 dB input/output return loss, and 14 dB directivity.

Model D17IA+ provides 17 dB coupling with a frequency range from 2300 t0 2600, supporting applications including WLAN, WiMAX, aeronautical and more.  It provides low mainline loss of 0.4 dB, 23 dB input/output return loss, and 14 dB directivity.

Model D19GA+ provides 21 dB coupling with a frequency range from 1400 to 1700 MHz, supporting applications including GPS and more.  It provides 0.3 dB mainline loss, 27 dB input/output return loss, and 17 dB directivity.

Model D18PA+ provides 19 dB coupling with a frequency range from 1700 to 2000 MHz, supporting applications including PCS and more.  It provides 0.3 dB mainline loss, 26 dB input/output return loss, and 16 dB directivity.

D-series MMIC directional couplers are available off the shelf for a great value, starting at $0.99 each (qty. 20).  Place our order online today and have them in hand as soon as tomorrow!
