【Developmental Background】
Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation (AKM) has been developing analog signal processing ICs for the two-way radio market, and has gained knowledge and core technology. AKM‘s devices are highly integrated while achieving high performances and low power consumption. The AK1573 is VCO integrated Integer-N synthesizer with low noise and low consumption, contributing to minimize PCB size of two-way radios. By incorporating an external loop filter, phase lock loop with low phase noise can be achieved without taking large space on PCB. There are three types of devices in the AK1573 series categorized by output frequency, and they cover frequency range from 30MHz to 3GHz. AK1573 series is a VCO integrating version of our frequency synthesizer, the AK1546.
