DC-Isolated Surface-Mount Transformer Supports Applications from 100 to 1000 MHz

2015-12-01 | Return
1 December 2015 – Mini-Circuits’ TC4-13TX+ DC isolated surface-mount transformer covers the 100 to 1000 MHz frequency range, supporting a variety of applications including impedance matching, push-pull amplifiers, balanced to unbalanced transformation, and more.  This model provides a secondary/primary impedance ratio of 4:1 with 0.6 dB insertion loss, 0.5 dB amplitude unbalance, and 9° phase unbalance.  It can handle up to 0.25W RF input power and 30mA DC current.  A center tap on the secondary winding allows DC feed up to 30mA and DC bias without the need for bias tees in the signal chain.  Utilizing core and wire construction on a 5-lead plastic base with tin over nickel termination finish, the transformer measures only 0.15 x 0.15 x 0.16”, accommodating dense circuit board layouts.  It also features Mini-Circuits unique Top Hat® feature to improve speed and accuracy of pick and place assembly.

The TC4-13TX+ transformer is available off the shelf for low cost at $2.19 each (qty. 50). Place your order online today and have them in hand as soon as tomorrow!
