DC-Isolated Surface-Mount Transformer Handles 12.5W RF Power from 10 to 60 MHz

18 November 2015 – Mini-Circuits’ new SYTX2-61HP+ is a high-power, DC isolated transformer with a secondary/primary impedance ratio of 0.5, supporting a variety of applications from 10 to 60 MHz. This model features core and wire construction mounted on a printed laminate base designed for efficient heat transfer through the PCB. It provides reliable operation at up to 12.5W RF power and 30mA DC current, and its DC isolated configuration makes it suitable for isolating DC current between circuits. The transformer achieves 0.3 dB insertion loss, 0.2 B amplitude unbalance, and 3˚ phase unbalance. It comes enclosed in a miniature, nickel-silver alloy shielded package (0.43 x 0.69 x 0.42”) and features wraparound terminations for excellent solderability.
