Bourns Introduces the Model TISP4G024L1W xDSL Protector for VDSL and G.Fast Applications

Riverside, California - November 13, 2015 - Bourns is pleased to announce the release of a new surge protection product, the Model TISP4G024L1W, for protecting ADSL, VDSL and G.Fast interfaces.

The Bourns® Model TISP4G024L1W xDSL Protector is designed to be placed between the xDSL line driver IC and the transformer, protecting the line driver from overvoltage conditions. The low capacitance variation of the device, 0.02 pF, ensures minimal impact to signal integrity of the high speed interface the device is protecting. 

The Model TISP4G024L1W has a surge capability of 30 A (8/20 µs), assisting in compliance with international standards such as ITU-T K.20, K.21 or K.45, Telcordia GR-1089-CORE and YD/T for xDSL interfaces.
