Tiny Wideband Transmission Line Transformer Covers Applications from 1700 to 6700 MHz

4 November 2015 – Mini-Circuits’ TCM2-672X+ surface-mount transmission line transformer provides wideband coverage from 1700 to 6700 MHz, supporting a wide range of applications including PCS, cellular, push-pull amplifiers and more. This model provides a secondary/primary impedance ratio of 2:1, 1.1 dB insertion loss, good input return loss (12 – 31 dB), and amplitude and phase unbalance of 0.8 dB and 6˚, respectively. The transformer handles up to 0.4W RF power and 30mA DC current. It features core and wire construction mounted on a 6-lead plastic base with tin over nickel termination finish. This tiny unit occupies only 0.16 x 0.15 x 0.16” of board space and features Mini-Circuits’ unique Top Hat® feature to improve speed and accuracy of pick and place assembly.
