New 75Ω Voltage Variable Equalizer Supports DOCSIS® 3.1 System Requirements

2015-10-19 | Return

19 October 2015 – Mini-Circuits’ new VAEQ-1220-75+ is a 75Ω surface-mount equalizer providing precise attenuation slope control from 50 to 1220 MHz, supporting DOCSIS 3.1 bandwidth requirements.  This model allows operators to compensate for cable losses without having to measure the length of each cable on site, saving significant cost and resources deployed in the field.  The device operates on a single +5V power supply with 16mA maximum current consumption and a control voltage range from 0 to 7V.  It provides +50 dBm IP3 and ±0.5 dB deviation from linear loss, resulting in low distortion across the entire frequency range.  The unit comes housed in a miniature, shielded 6-lead package (0.39 x 0.39 x .015”) with wraparound terminations for excellent solderability.

The VAEQ-1220-75+ 75Ω voltage variable equalizer is available off the shelf for $10.95 each (qty. 10-49). Place your order online today and for delivery as soon as tomorrow!
