12 October 2015 – Mini-Circuits new PMA3-83LN+ ultra-wideband MMIC LNA provides 1.3 dB typical noise figure over its entire operating frequency range from 0.5 to 8 GHz with one simple matching circuit, making it easy to use for many applications from WiFi to C-Band SATCOM and more!  This model delivers 21 dB gain with ±0.9 dB gain flatness (specified from 0.5 to 7 GHz @6V), +20.7 P1dB and +35 dBm IP3.  The amplifier operates on a single 5V/6V supply and comes housed in a tiny, 12-lead, 3x3mm QFN package with low inductance, good thermal contact to the PCB, and excellent repeatability.

This noteworthy new model was recognized by the editors of Microwaves & RF magazine in a cover feature article in the September issue by Contributing Editor, Jack Browne.  Browne writes, “Amplifiers with low noise figures are usually relatively narrow in bandwidth, achieving excellent noise performance through precise impedance matching for a given frequency range.  The model PMA3-83LN+ low-noise amplifier (LNA) from Mini-Circuits breaks with tradition by providing impressive noise-figure performance of 1.3 dB from 0.5 to 8 GHz.”  Read the full article on the Microwaves & RF a website.

Mini-Circuits’ PMA3-83LN+ ultra-wideband MMIC LNA is now available off the shelf for $11.95 each (qty. 20).  Place your order online today for delivery as soon as tomorrow!
