[Description]
The AK4137EQ is a new flagship premium 32-bit SRC (Sampling Rate Converter), based on AKM’s VELVET SOUND architecture that has been widely adopted by well-established high-end audio companies. This technology realizes fine sound details with its ultra-low-distortion architecture in addition to 32-bit resolution digital filter processing. The digital input supports up to 768 kHz PCM and DSD/PCM format conversion while supporting DoP format, suitable for high-resolution audio source playback.
● Dynamic sound playback with large amount of playback information
- AKMs VELVET SOUND architecture is utilized.
- Low-distortion technology achieves industry’s best performance of -150dB as an SRC with 186dB D/R (A-weighted) characteristic.
- IRD (Impulse Response Designed) filters are integrated with 32-bit processing to reproduces detailed natural sound.
- Four different digital filters types are selectable according to the user audio and system preferences.
● Supporting High Resolution Data
- The digital input supports up to 768 kHz PCM and 12.288 MHz DSD (Direct Stream Digital), recreating high-resolution sound that is as close as possible to the original acoustic source.
- It is suitable for high-resolution sound source playback that is becoming popular with Network Audio and USB DACs.
● Sampling Rate Conversion
Six patterns of sampling rate conversion format are available such as PCM → PCM, DSD → DSD, DSD → PCM, PCM → DS, DoP → DSD and DoP → PCM.

● Sampling Rate: 8kHz ~ 768kHz
● SRC Conversion Format: PCM→PCM, DSD→DSD, DSD→PCM, PCM→DSD, DoP→DSD, DoP→PCM
● Digital Filters: Four Types 32-bit 8-fold Digital Filters
● Soft Mute: Available. Mute time can be set in Semi-automatic mode.
● Internal Regulator: 1.8V (only available when DVDD=3.3V)
● Power Supply: 1.8V or 3.3V
● Operational Temperature Range: -40~85℃
● Package: 48-pin LQFP, 5 x 5 mm
