2015-09-07 | Return

Overview

Murata developed 1210 (3.2 mm × 2.5 mm)- and 1812 (4.5 mm × 3.2 mm)-size wire-wound power inductor products for use in electronic automotive devices.

Background

Inductors and other components for electronic automotive devices, such as vehicle-mounted cameras for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), require higher reliability than corresponding products for use in general-purpose consumer devices, such as mobile phones.

Murata has therefore developed 1210 (3.2 mm × 2.5 mm)- and 1812 (4.5 mm × 3.2 mm)-size wire-wound power inductor products to provide the high level of reliability demanded in electronic automotive devices.

Features

The 1210 (3.2 mm × 2.5 mm)- and 1812 (4.5 mm × 3.2 mm)-size wire-wound power inductors are available with inductance ranges of 0.47 to 22 μH for the LQH32PH_NC and 1.0 to 220 μH for the LQH43PH_26: optimal ranges for power inductors. In addition, they can be used at ambient temperatures up to 105°C.

Applications

Power inductors for electronic automotive devices such as vehicle-mounted cameras for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS)
