Toshiba has launched an industry minimum class^*1, super low capacitance TVS diode (ESD protection diode): DF2B7M2CL, which protects high speed interfaces for USB3.0/3.1, HDMI®^*3, eSATA, DisplayPort, and Thunderbolt™^*4 used in mobile devices such as smartphones and wearable devices, from ESD^*5.

This capacitance of this product is about 60 % of that of the conventional product^*7, while maintaining protection performance by applying TVS diode array process II (EAP-II ^*6). This product can also be used for radio devices handling very weak radio waves.
