28 July 2014 – Mini-Circuits’ new GVA-92+ medium power MMIC amplifier delivers saturated output power up to +24.1 dBm with high gain of 21.2 dB. Optimized for cellular, LTE and satellite IF application bands, the amplifier provides excellent power added efficiency up to 50% enabling high RF output power with low DC power consumption (5V, 99.1mA). This model provides +42 dBm typical OIP3, reverse isolation up to 33.6 dB and RF input power handling up to +21 dBm (at 2100 MHz, CW).

Application circuits may also be developed allowing the GVA-92+ to achieve outstanding performance significantly beyond the specified operating frequency range. Using two amplifiers in balanced configuration with Mini-Circuits’ 90˚ hybrids achieves excellent matching and maintains comparable performance to that of the single unit for desired bandwidths from 10 to 3600 MHz.

Manufactured using GaAs HBT technology, this model provides excellent repeatability and features built-in ESD protection rated HBM class 1C (1000 to <2000V) and MM class M1 (pass 75V). It comes housed in a tiny, SOT-89 package, providing excellent thermal stability from -40 to +85˚C.

The GVA-92+ medium power MMIC amplifier is available off the shelf for $3.45 each (qty. 20). Place your order today and have them in hand as soon as tomorrow!
