2015-07-21 | Return

Riverside, California - July 21, 2015 - Bourns is pleased to announce the release of a new surge protection product, the Model ACTP250J1BJ AC Transient Protector, for protecting offl ine power supplies.

The Bourns® Model ACTP250J1BJ AC Transient Protector comes in an SMB (DO-214AA) package and is designed to be used in series with an overvoltage clamp device. The precise and stable voltage of the Model ACTP250J1BJ raises the turn-on voltage threshold of the series combination for low frequency overvoltage conditions and has minimal impact on the voltage clamp level when subjected to a lightning surge. The Model ACTP250J1BJ is designed to withstand a ± 2.5 kV combinational wave surge per IEC 61000-4-5 when used in series with an appropriate overvoltage clamp device.
