REINFORCED TRANSFORMER MODULES DESIGNED FOR ENERGY STORAGE SOLUTION (ESS) – HXE201XHL SERIES

2024-05-21 | Return
Our new HXE20xxHL SMD series of reinforced, high-voltage insulation transformer modules are designed to provide safety isolation and protection on communication links used to control and monitor renewable energy storage systems where hazardous high working voltages are present. The new modules feature a 1:1 tapped transformer and integral choke providing excellent signal conditioning and optimum EMI performance. The designs all meet reinforced insulation in compliance with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 at four defined working voltages 500V, 800V, 1000Vdc, and 1500Vdc, three levels of input-output Insolation, 4300Vdc, 5000Vdc, and 6000Vdc and 400 megaohm insulation resistance over the operation temperature range -40°C to +125°C. This makes them ideal for use in demanding outdoor applications where battery stacks provide energy storage or backup solutions in remote or residential locations. The new HXE20xxHL series are our next generation of BMS modules in a compact footprint offering high Creepage >15mm and are matched to the leading chipsets for Cell monitoring & Controlling and the battery management controller making them ideal for isolating the daisy chain communication links between the BMC and CMC. They use our unique construction method and production processes that improve reliability over their lifetime, supporting 15 years at the selected working voltage. The parts can also be used in marine and aviation applications where communication links need digital separation from the high-voltage battery stacks and circuits for battery management.
