Lumileds Increases Light Output for High Power LEDs with a Focus on Usable Light and Application Efficiency

Light output increases 5%-8% for 5 different high-power LED families

“By increasing the light output of these LUXEON LEDs while maintaining the same current specifications and the same relative intensity distribution, customers can immediately realize gains such as higher center beam candle power, improved system level thermal management, and lower energy consumption in existing designs,” said Keen Oun Yap, Lumileds High Power Product Manager.
