TE Connectivity (TE), a world leader in connectivity and sensors, has introduced new board mount terminal blocks as an extension of its PCB terminal block portfolio. This product extension provides a compact application solution in the warehouse automation market, where space is often limited.
“The industry is trending toward smaller solutions that still offer high levels of power and performance,” said Jos Samulski, Senior Product Manager at TE Connectivity. “Our new board mount terminal blocks are designed with miniaturization in mind. Additionally, the reflow capability of these new blocks opens opportunities for building automation applications where space savings are key.”
As warehouses become increasingly automated, reflow soldering solutions like the new board mount terminal blocks allow for automated assembly lines and provide the option for soldering on both sides of the board. With smaller sizes and lower weight components, it is essential that the soldering process remain stable. The closed clamp board mount design and additional positioning pegs increase the stability and planarity of soldering, improving overall efficiency.

Stackable solutions — The board mount terminal blocks and PCB headers are stackable end-to-end without loss of centerline spacing.
