NVE Introduces Ultrahigh Common Mode Transient Immunity Isolators
2020-02-24 | 返回EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.—February 24, 2019—NVE Corporation today announced a new family of digital signal isolators with ultrahigh Common Mode Transient Immunity (“CMTI”).
Extraordinary CMTI
CMTI-grade isolators are 100% tested to ensure each part has at least 200 kV/µs minimum CMTI. Simple external deglitch circuitry extends the CMTI to an extraordinary 350 kV/µs typical.
Revolutionary Isolator Technology
The new devices are manufactured with NVE’s patented IsoLoop® spintronic Giant Magnetoresistive (GMR) technology for small size, high speed, and high CMTI. A unique ceramic/polymer composite barrier provides excellent isolation and virtually unlimited barrier life.
Ideal for MOSFET Power Drive
IL6xxCMTI isolators are optimized to driving power MOSFETs. They have an extended supply range of up to 6.6 volts for compatibility with a variety of power MOSFETs and gate driver ICs.
Flexible Inputs
The inputs can be single-ended or bipolar differential for maximum transient immunity. Resistors set the input current, and five milliamps input current guarantees switching.
Ultraminiature
The new parts are available in NVE’s unique MSOP8 package, which are the world’s smallest isolators.

Key IL6xxCMTI specifications include:

• 3 V to 6.6 V drive-side supply
• Input current as low as 5 mA
• No input-side power supply needed

The single-channel MSOP8 (part number IL610CMTI-1E), the single-channel SOIC8 (IL610CMTI-3E), and the two-channel MSOP8 (IL611CMTI-1E) are in stock for immediate delivery. The the two-channel SOIC8 (IL611CMTI-3E) will be available in April 2020.
The IL610CMTI-1E and IL610CMTI-3E are priced at $2.48 each in 1000-piece quantities. The IL611CMTI-1E and IL611CMTI-3E are $4.02 each.
