NVE Introduces Its Most Sensitive Sensor Ever

2021-12-20 | 返回
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.—December 20, 2021—NVE has introduced its most sensitive magnetometer sensor ever.

The new ALT023 is a version of the popular ALT025 Tunneling Magnetoresistance (TMR) analog magnetometer with ten times the sensitivity. The ALT023 uses NVE’s revolutionary TMR technology to precisely measure fields from a few microtesla to 1 millitesla.

The differential bridge outputs are bipolar, meaning positive for a positive field and negative for an opposite field polarity.

Key ALT023 specifications include:
> High sensitivity (200 mV/V typical full-scale)
> Flexible 0 to 5.5 V supply (no minimum)
> 20 kiloohm device resistance for low power
> 1 mT linear range
> High linearity (<1 % of full-scale)
> Ultra-low output temperature coefficient (0.1%/C)
> Up to 300 kHz bandwidth
> 40 to 125 C operating range
> 2.5 by 2.5 mm TDFN6 package

Applications include non-contact current sensing; motion, speed, and position control; mechatronics and robotics; and geomagnetic navigation.

There are currently two ALT-Series TMR Magnetometer versions:

Part Number

Linear Range

Sensitivity

ALT023-10E

0 to 1 mT

200 mV/V/mT

ALT025-00E

0 to 10 mT

20 mV/V/mT

The ALT023-10E and ALT025-10E are both available now for immediate delivery. The parts end-user price is $5.68 each in 1000-piece quantities.
