To cover high performance needs the already known and well established EV/EH series of Schaffner current compensated chokes was completed with the so called X-types. 

They offer higher inductance with the same size and current level. The 7 new types of EV/EH 28 show what is possible in this small dimensions. Due to open-frame design the chokes can be certified with the whole system easily, UL Bill of Material is available on request. All materials used are compatible with the RoHS II (2015/863) directive.

Now the roughly 60 different kinds of chokes are available to support engineers in any complicated design of e.g. SMPS (Switch Mode Power Supplies).
