Bourns Fixed Resistor Product Line Announces New Series of Precision Thin Film Chip Resistors Model CRT-ST

Riverside, California - November 20, 2017 - Bourns is pleased to announce the introduction of its new series of precision thin film resistors. This new surface mount series helps strengthen the already broad range of surface mount chip resistors offered by Bourns.

The new Model CRT-ST series comes in four different footprints from 0402 (1005 Metric) up to 1206 (3015 Metric) and has a wide resistance value range from 1 ohm to 2.49 megohms.

The new thin film chip resistors are available with four different resistance tolerance options ranging from 0.1% to 1% and also offer two different TCR options, ±25 ppm/°C and ±50 ppm/°C.

The low resistance tolerances and high precision TCR values are achieved by using thin film printing technology on ceramic substrates. The performance of these new resistors makes them suitable within high precision consumer, industrial, automation and power supply applications.

This new family complements the other circuit conditioning components that Bourns offers such as power inductors, rectifier diodes and Zener diodes.
