Why Abracon Quartz Crystals?

2022-10-21 | Return
Abracon’s quartz crystals offer low ESR specifications in combination with low CL options to address energy-saving MCU & portable communication chipset market trends. To support this decrease in power consumption, many on-chip oscillators have a limited output drive and often cannot sustain oscillation using standard quartz crystals with higher ESR & CL specifications. Abracon’s W-Series of quartz crystals are engineered for micropower applications to overcome these challenges.

Abracon offers quartz crystals in a variety of package size options, frequencies, and performance conditions such as industrial and automotive grade.

ABS05 Tuning Fork Crystals
Abracon’s ABS family of tuning fork quartz crystals is utilized in a wide range of applications from industrial and medical electronics to consumer IoT gadgets. These tuning fork crystals are suited for time management in RTC circuits needing small form factors. The ABS05 series tuning forks provide low power consumption to preserve long-term battery life in many applications. While producing the same performance, Abracon has now developed and introduced a 4.0pF plated version of its miniature ABS05 series. This 4.0pF plated option will enable any circuit to consume less power and start up significantly faster.

ABS07 Tuning Fork Crystals
The ABS07 series is the perfect solution for time management in RTC circuits. Our high-demand series of tuning fork crystals are low in power consumption preserving battery life in a wide range of applications.

The low frequency in small-size SMD and 0.9mm height is ideal for high-density circuit boards. The product's seam-sealed ceramic package offers excellent environmental & heat resistance and is applicable for a wide range of communication & measuring equipment. Other applications include commercial & Industrial applications, wireless communications, PDAs, and smartphones.
